Hello all..

I am seeking advice from my peers. I am hoping to order a new LMG in the next few weeks. I do play weekly, it has been years since I have actually ordered a gun!

I am seeking a LMG that is all metal, with good enough internals I do not have to spend several more hundred dollars on upgrades to get it shooting how I want it. And all for under $500 dollars. :doh:

I dont usually post around here, but I felt this was an appropriate place ( if anyone cares ). Today is my birthday and that marks nearly the second year that i have been consistently playing in central Texas. Many of you around Texas paintball know me by my real name Pierce, some others know me by my callsign. Regardless, If you have been to TXPB in the last year and a half chances are you have seen me. I just wanted to give my piece and thank everyone for the tons of great game's played and the many good to come. I can still recall when TXPB's crack house was nothing more than a simple crack outpost, or crack camp as it was. I can still recall when Cali used to show up and torch people with his psg1, as well as one of the few rare times that austin wolv comes out and plays. This day marks nearly the 4th year I have been playing airsoft nearly EVERY WEEKEND, with various groups across the state.
My new toy I bought for my birthday Is a lovely new Sun Project Car-15 looking weapon. Once I have a Rig, you will see me ( along with my 13 other primaries ) running around slaying bodies.

I made the suggestion of doing an overnight for Friday. Dave said good to go. (We're coming in from Belton Lake this week so it works out great for us.) Then late Saturday night with BBQ and possibly movies on the side of the trailer. (It makes a great screen! Any one have a projector?)

I'll get more details and post as i-net connection allows. Would be a good time for some of us Austin folks to hit the Temple field and hang out since it's a long weekend for many of us. The weather up this way this week has been fairly decent.

I believe this is happening in the UK, and if it is they have the right idea! From all the videos I've seen of OPs over the pond, and their great websites that have EVERYTHING, but cost a fortune to ship, I'd say these guys are some of the most hardcore airsofters in the world.
I was on popularairsoft.com (thanks Wolv for telling me about this site), and I came across this article about a 6 month long airsoft Tour Of Duty. The massive campaign follows an ongoing story line, and the teams stay the same for the duration, but obviously the participants do not stay in 'theater' for the whole six months . I'll drop the link if you are curious to read more, but to all you promoters, and event hosts that may be reading this, we NEED to do something like this in Texas (unless it's already been done, and I'm late to the party). Obviously the weather is much more convenient in the UK to pull something like this off, but maybe we could start with a three month Tour in the spring or fall. Do you guys have any thoughts on making something like this happen?
